Getting Started

Step One:

Free Intro Class: Prior to making any type of commitment, we want you to experience our workouts, coaching and gym environment first-hand. Your Free Intro Class enables you to meet our coaches and get familiar with our workout environment, learn how we can modify all of our workouts to any fitness level, and try a workout first-hand. We ask that you EMAIL US a few days prior to attending a class so we can accommodate your request.

Step Two:

Foundations: If you decide to train at 5TCF, before you can enter into the mainstream classes you must first complete our Foundations program. This program is a 3-4 sessions that focuses on safety, mechanics, consistency and gradual increase of intensity that is required for group classes. Upon successful completion of the program, you will be ready to participate in our CrossFit Group Classes.  We will work a schedule that is suitable for you and our trainers to get the sessions done promptly and have you integrated into the group classes.

The Foundations program is designed to gradually introduce the movements, training and intensity found in our program. In this program, we will expose beginners to our movement curriculum to allow the transition into mainstream classes to be as smooth as possible. Movement techniques will be drilled and you will receive a progressive introduction to the intensity levels that are inherent in our group classes. Clients can test out of the Foundations Program if they have a level of experience that permits them to do so. This program is solely created for the safety of every client in our gym. We do not want anyone to be intimidated in our classes so this program has been created to allow yourself to build comfort with the movements and surroundings.

Please begin the Foundations program when the following apply:

  • You are active and injury-free.
    Foundations is designed for the generally active individual with no serious movement limitations.

Step 3:

CrossFit Group Classes: A high intensity workout consisting of cardiovascular exercise, weight lifting, and gymnastics combined to form a diverse, all inclusive training program. While our program is designed to challenge top athletes, every workout and movement is infinitely scalable to any fitness level.

5 Towns Fit Classes:  Our 5 Towns Fit class is 60 minutes of high energy, fast paced conditioning drills designed to develop your strength, endurance and muscular stamina. This program incorporates High Intensity Interval Training without overly complex movements or heavy weight training.  You do not need to go through the Foundations program to be able to join us for our Fit classes.  See our schedule for the times this class is offered during the week.
